August 26th: FREE Lecture on War, Disability, & Society

Clarkson University’s Department of the Humanities and Social Sciences and the New York Council for the Humanities invites the public to attend a free lecture on War, Disability, & Society. The lecture will be held at the Cheel Campus Center at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, August 26th.

University of Pennsylvania historian Beth Linker, will be speaking. The title of Professor Linker’s lecture is War’s Waste: The Rehabilitation of Disabled Soldiers in American History.

For more information, contact Laura Ettinger at (315) 268-3991. Supported by a grant from the New York Council for the Humanities, the lecture is free and open to the public.  It will be interpreted for the deaf and hearing impaired.
